Saucy Wench Style Pork Spareribs

Preparation:

  1. Cooking Directions:Rinse and pat dry ribs with a paper towel.
  2. Optionally season with your favorite dry rub.  (If this is your first time mixing your dry rub and Saucy Wench BBQ sauce, only season part of the ribs, Ms Saucy does not believe you really need it.)

 Grill & Oven Method (easiest):

  1. On a hot grill, sear both sides of the ribs.  Approximately 4-5 minutes per side.
  2. Remove from the grill and tightly wrap in foil.
  3. Please on a shallow rimmed baking pan.
  4. Place in preheated oven set to 300F.  Cook for 2 hours.
  5. Remove from oven, cut open foil, and pour 1/2 to 3/4 cups of Saucy Wench BBQ sauce onto ribs.  Return to oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Remove ribs from oven.  Slide ribs onto serving dish.
  7. Serve with a side of warmed Saucy Wench BBQ sauce in a bowl with a ladle.

 Grill Method:

  1. On a hot grill, sear both sides of the ribs.  Approximately 4-5 minutes per side.
  2. Remove from grill and tightly wrap in foil.
  3. Place ribs in a disposable aluminum tray.
  4. If using a gas grill turn off burners on one side of grill, adjust burners until temperature is close to 300-325F.  Place ribs on portion of rack not being directly heated. If using a charcoal grill, adjust vents to bring temperature to about 300-325F. Place tray on rack. Cook for 2 hours.
  5. Cut open foil, pour 1/2 to 3/4 cups of Saucy Wench BBQ sauce onto ribs. Continue cooking for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove ribs from grill.  Move ribs onto serving dish.
  7. Serve with a side of warmed Saucy Wench BBQ sauce in a bowl with a ladle.
